Error 605 while executing CBTA Test Configuration

Symptom:

Your CBTA Execution failed.


At the execution log of Test Configuration  You have error like:

 ERROR DETECTED * Error: 605 Description: The 'Sapgui Component' could not be instantiated. Source: saplogon

In the CBTA log placed at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\CBTA\logs You have error like:

2015-07-09 16:49:50:233 : WARNING : Thread01 (MainThread) : TestInterpreter : Technical RFC Destination name not found. Cannot search for SAP routers.

Solution:

Used RFC connection should be based on exact IP-address of Application Server of System under Test - NOT on the symbolic host name.

Change symbolic name of the RFC Connection to IP-address of the System Under Test.

Error when installing Cisco AnyConnect

Case:
You cannot install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.06079 in Windows 8.

If You try to install it using WebScript You get an error like:
Failed to install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.06079 with installer error: Incorrect Function. A VPN Connection cannot be established.

If You try to run installer anyconnect-win-3.1.06079-web-deploy-k9.exe from standalone file, installation just not starts: nothing happens after double click on file, or after attempt of Running As Administrator.

Solution:
What helped me is creation of another user.
Logging under that new user.
Running installation in that new-user session.

How to copy CBTA Test Script correctly

Case:
You want to copy CBTA Test script to use with another test data but the procedure for that is obscure.

Method:
Before copying Test Script we will create Test Data Container for the Script Copy to be assigned to.

In solman_directory transaction open Test Cases Tab of the used Scenario.


Choose CBTA Test Configuraition (TC) from the drop-down list.
Enter name for new TC.
Select the whole line and press Create Button.

 

Or use Create button at Test Management Tab at Solman_workcenter transaction (then, Test repository > Test Configuration view radio-button).


 Fill in the primary creation data

Fill necessary fields and save.
Choose Assign Script > Copy Existing

Fill in the name of Test Script that You want to copy
and name for the new Test Script

 You can see how data from the old test script has been copied

You can go to secatt transaction and check that there is definitely a new script assigned to the Test Configuration you just created.
